Knovel in the Community

Knovel takes very seriously the role we play as members of the world community and the New York City community. Knovel fully supports employees in their charitable works, helping them to raise money for their chosen charities.

Knovel supports volunteerism and community relations. CEO Chris Forbes currently serves as the Chairman of the Board with Change for Kids, a non-profit which partners with New York City public schools to empower underprivileged children by providing them with a broad range of innovative literacy, arts, and music programs.

Knovel employees actively participate in a range of charitable activities throughout the year. In 2009 Knovel employees attended Bowl for Kids, a fundraising event hosted by Bowlmor Lanes in New York City, and supported the Adopt-a-Family program which ensures underprivileged children receive holiday gifts and other much needed items.

Starting 2010, Knovel will offer a scholarship to one engineering student every year. Knovel has long been involved in Academia, and we feel that this is an excellent way to give back to students who have decided to follow an engineering career path.

Throughout the year, we’ll keep you posted on any and all charitable projects underway, and let you know how you can help.
